Vin Santo del Chianti DOC (Denomination of Origin Controlled) is produced with selected  Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia grapes coming only from our vineyards.


The production rules say that grapes must dry out naturally until 1st December after the harvest, the wine has to be vinified and aged in small barrels (caratelli) smaller than 500 liters. The wine cannot be sold before the 1st November of the third year after the harvest. The minimum total alcohol by volume is 15,5%.

The aging of our Vin Santo del Chianti Campochiarenti lasts for a minimum of 8 years in 100 and 200 liters barrels (caratelli); the result is a high intensity and a length that define the ideal character of a meditation wine.
It is bottled without filtration and without adding sulphites, so it can naturally age in bottle for many years.
